Esprit was established by Graham Dixon in 1998 as a European road haulage business working with major blue chip companies such as Tesco, Securicor, TDG & Cargill. Over the following years, our expertise in transport management and handling bulk & palletised goods, coupled with our solid reputation for excellent service levels & reliability, has led to significant organic growth and diversification away from operating our own fleet of lorries.

The services Esprit provides today are spread over four sites in Trafford Park and Liverpool.  At our Trafford Park warehouses we provide warehousing of bulk & palletised goods, docks & stevedores for loading & unloading upto 4,000mt ships, plus secure contract parking for upto 60 HGV’s.

On our customer sites, we provide management & operators for loading & unloading, sampling & testing of over 200 bulk grain & animal feed lorries per day, management of co-product production processes, site security, weighbridge management, quality control and transport management. Employing more than 25 staff, Esprit also provide 24/7 cover for on-site bulk materials handling using our own fleet of shunters including tippers, powder & liquid tankers, loading shovels, telehandlers, Bobcat & cherry pickers.

It is our independent, honest and reliable service that has been the making of our growing business. Our Trafford Park warehousing operations are now one of the largest general goods and food-stuff warehouses in Manchester. We’re also now the leading supplier of outsourced site facilities management within the bulk grain, feed, food and ethanol industries.
